LIECOSYS is building everything you need to live in the digital world, under two rules: “Security & Freedom” But “Visibility is Liability”. This page is the whole case in one read: every promise we make and every limit we have today. What it leaves out is our anti-abuse playbook: the exact limits and warning signs we use against spam and guessing.
What LIECOSYS is
LIECOSYS is building everything you need to live in the digital world: notes, files, conversations, email, photos and whatever comes next, all opened by one account. It doesn’t answer to one country’s rulebook. Whatever protection any jurisdiction demands, every person gets, everywhere. No exceptions based on where you live.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising. Not a little. Not to anyone. Not ever. More on the Company page.
What’s live, and what isn’t yet
Not everything… yet.
- Live today: Notes, Organizations, Sign in with LIECOSYS, and the account that opens all of them. Every web app installs to your home screen or desktop.
- Paused: Drive and Messaging. Nothing stored with them is deleted or opened while they’re paused.
- Being rebuilt: Photos. It’s paused until the rebuild is done.
- On its way: Email. Your @liecosys.xyz address is reserved the day you sign up, and you can ask to be told when it launches.
Nothing new ships until it clears the same bar as what’s already live. The current list is on Products.
What that bar means for you
- Notes is encrypted on your device before anything leaves it. We can’t read it, and neither can anyone who breaks in.
- What you store and share is built to withstand current and future decryption methods, including quantum computers.
- Your password never leaves your device, not even to us.
- A stolen login is useless on another device. New device or new place? We check it’s you first, and we email you.
- Sign in with a passkey, an authenticator app or an email code.
- One recovery phrase that never leaves your device, and up to three trusted people who can help you back in. Recovery never hands us your keys.
- If someone forces you to sign in, a safety password opens a decoy account, and Seal keeps your real data out of reach until you restore it.

What we will never do
- Give you less protection, or fewer rights, because of where you live.
- Sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Hand over data because someone asked.
Government and legal requests
Every request for user data starts from a refusal. None is granted by standing policy, by a support agent or by an automated process. Each one is reviewed personally, one at a time. A request is only considered with a verified, binding court order we have no lawful way left to challenge, and even then we hand over the minimum the order compels. The bar doesn’t move depending on which country is asking.
And for Notes, there’s nothing readable to hand over anyway.
Zero requests fulfilled so far. The day that changes, it’s listed on Transparency, by year and by requesting country.
Leave whenever you want
Export your account data, your notes and any file, any time. Delete your account any time, with 30 days to change your mind, then it’s permanently erased, except the few records the law or our Privacy Policy says we keep. And if LIECOSYS ever shuts down, you get at least 90 days’ notice, with sign-in and export working the whole time. You’re never stuck here.
What it costs
The account and Notes are free. Paid plans add storage, starting at $1.99 a month, and organizations pay per seat. Nothing is sold, so the free tier isn’t paid for with you. Details on Pricing.

Notes, Organizations and Sign in with LIECOSYS, all opened by one account. Drive and Messaging are paused, Photos is paused while we rebuild it, and Email is on its way. Your @liecosys.xyz address is reserved when you sign up.
Every request starts from a refusal and is reviewed personally, one at a time. Only a verified, binding court order is considered, and even then only the minimum is handed over. None has been fulfilled so far. Notes can’t be handed over readable at all.
You get at least 90 days’ notice, and sign-in and export keep working the whole time, so you can take everything with you.
