Acceptable Use Policy

Most of what you keep in LIECOSYS is encrypted on your device, so we can’t see it and we don’t scan it. These rules still apply to it. We act on what’s reported to us and on what we can see, such as usernames, display names, organization names and anything you make public with a link.

Zero tolerance. You may not create, store, share, request or link to child sexual abuse material, including drawings, edits and AI-generated images. You may not groom, sexualize, sextort or exploit anyone under 18, including in fiction or roleplay, or pretend to be a minor to get close to one. You may not help anyone traffic or harm a child, or hide that it’s happening. An account that does this is closed at once, and the case goes to a child-safety hotline and the police, as our Privacy Policy describes.

You may not threaten anyone; encourage or celebrate violence against people or animals; recruit for, fund or promote terrorist or violent extremist groups; attack people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or serious illness; or share real gore to shock or to glorify it. Reporting on, studying or condemning these things is allowed.

You may not bully, harass or intimidate anyone, or get others to. You may not share someone’s private information, such as a home address, ID numbers, financial or health details, without their permission, or publish it to target them. You may not share, or threaten to share, intimate images of anyone without their consent, including fake or AI-made ones. You may not track, monitor or spy on someone without their consent, or keep contacting someone who has blocked or clearly refused you.

You may not encourage or instruct anyone in suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. Talking about your own struggles, and supporting others through theirs, is allowed.

You may not run scams, phishing or fraud of any kind; collect other people’s passwords, codes or payment details; impersonate a person, an organization or LIECOSYS staff (clearly labelled parody and pen names are fine); forge documents or credentials; sell counterfeit goods; run pyramid schemes or other schemes that prey on people; run fake accounts or coordinated networks to mislead people; or spread false information about how, when or where to vote.

You may not use LIECOSYS to sell or trade illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, stolen goods, stolen data or stolen accounts; for human trafficking or sexual exploitation; or to help anyone make chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear weapons.

LIECOSYS isn’t a place for pornography or other sexually explicit content, in any product. Because most of what you keep is encrypted, we don’t go looking for it. When a report shows it to us, the first time we remove what we can reach, such as a public link, and send a warning. If it happens again, the account is suspended. If it continues after a suspension, the account is closed permanently. Anything involving someone under 18 falls under Child safety instead, with no warnings.

You may not get into, or try to get into, any account, device or system without permission; spread or host malware; attack, overload or disrupt LIECOSYS or anyone else’s service; get around our security controls, rate limits or abuse protections; or take LIECOSYS apart to do any of these. Security research is welcome within our disclosure rules.

Give true information when you sign up, including your date of birth. You may not create accounts with bots, with scripts or in bulk; scrape LIECOSYS or use it through automated tools outside normal human use; buy, sell, rent or transfer accounts, usernames or access; create an account for someone else without their permission; or come back with a new account after we’ve closed yours.

You may not send unwanted bulk messages, contact requests, invitations or emails, or send the same content over and over. You may not use Drive, Photos or public links as free hosting for mass downloads, or to spread spam or malware.

You may not share content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights. See our Copyright Policy.

You may not file fake or bad-faith reports or appeals to get someone else punished.

LIECOSYS limits — rather than bans — behavior that commonly indicates abuse, including how many accounts can share a device, phone number, or recovery email. These limits exist to slow down abuse, not to stop legitimate shared-device or family use, and a phone number can be on only one live account at a time.

When a number leaves an account — removed, replaced, or with the account deleted — it is held for 12 months. During the hold, only the account that last had it can add it back. After 12 months the record is erased and the number is free again. For the hold we keep a keyed fingerprint of the number, never the number itself.

Using a VPN, a proxy or Tor never gets you blocked: that would punish the people who most need privacy. It can mean an extra verification step, because that’s the price of keeping that access open instead of banning it.

What we do depends on how serious it is: a warning, taking down something you made public, limiting a feature, a temporary suspension, or closing the account permanently. Breaking the same rule again moves up that ladder. Child safety, credible threats of violence and attacks on our systems can mean immediate closure. Automated systems only flag; a person decides, except where a limit is a fixed technical cap, like the account limits above. Where it’s safe to, we tell you which rule you broke.

Use “Report abuse” at the bottom of any page, or email security@liecosys.xyz. In LIECOSYS Messages, you can also report a message straight from the chat. We never tell the person you report who reported them.

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was in error, you can appeal through the process linked in your suspension notice. Appeals are reviewed individually, not auto-resolved.

This policy is versioned. Material changes are announced with a new version number before they take effect, and you’re asked to accept them the next time you open a LIECOSYS product.
